Jared Sammet

URBN LAB is headed by Chief Consultant Jared Sammet who has extensive domestic and international experience in land use planning, real estate investment, and permit procurement for desired built environment outcomes for clients. Jared received a practice-oriented bachelors degree in City & Regional Planning - Urban Design from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and a theory-driven masters degree in Urban & Regional Planning - Real Estate Development from University of Amsterdam. Jared also is a Certified Green Professional by the National Association of Home Builder (NAHB), and his experience provides him with a dual focused point of reference to solve complex real estate issues by using practical and effective methods.

Having worked as a Professional Standards Associate in Amsterdam at the Association of Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV), Jared has a developed a comprehensive understanding of how real estate investment is approached at a regional level, factoring changing demographics and data. On a more scaled level, Jared has experience working as a Planning Consultant directly on small-medium development projects and permit procurement while working for the Santa Cruz based land use consulting firm, Hamilton Swift & Associates.
